Talking about prices of car parts. I recently had to replace a TPMS sensor. Acura dealer wanted $72 but he was out of stock. He told me to go across the street to the Honda dealer for the same part and part number. Cost was $42! Note to self: Buy parts from Honda dealer and not Acrua dealer.
I buy my acura parts from Honda all the time but they always tell me they wont warrantee the part since its going to be for my TL. I actually chuckle when im told that because that doesn't mean anything.
but you do save a lot of money going that route.

I'm in the DC, MD, VA area. My 07 with 10?K TL is due for a B14. I called Radley Acura, they quoted me 2100. Called Honda in Bethesda and was quoted 2200- they said they replaced a few more items than Acura does when they tear everything apart.... I'm shopping around on this....
Anyone know any good shops in the area for this service? -No, I cannot do it myself anymore.

That bill is about right for dealer work. At least all the "parts" prices you posted. All the prices are at or below what I sell them for at another dealer.
You cannot compare Online prices to instant shop prices.
If you want Online prices order all the parts pay shipping and a week later get them then bring your own parts to the dealer.
Just saying.
IMO

Looks like I got hosed too.. I'm not sure how they matched the Honda price but charged for whatever the hell..
No matter how I complain the lesson is the same, and others here have already preached; Do not go to the dealership.
You would think they would do things in a way to keep the customer coming back.

More motivation to either DIY or source the parts and go third party...or get a car that doesnt have cams/valves
keeping things in perspective:
my son got two quotes from the BMW dealer for his 3 series. Replace low beam headlight $250, flush power steering fluid $250! "The Ultimate Money Sucking Machine"

+1, $163 for 6 spark-plugs is outrageous
Sorry about your misfortune.
This is one of the reasons why I do all my own (and immediate family) maintenance including timing belts.
That and I also enjoy working on stuff.
