Why do we insist in making subforum???

Why do we continue to make subforums? Its easier to keep everything in one so you only have to browse in one place. Once a thread is moved elsewhere it esssentially dies since very few people browse the other forums! Its great to have only one area with a multitude of topics and let them continue or die from viewers rather than moderators interest. Why pigeon hole topics :dunno: Let TL owners be free :racing:

I'm too lazy...I'd rather just browse all the various threads in one forum.

Right on

All three responses are correct, actually.

You could say the same thing about a filing system: Why not put everything in the miscellaneous folder?

It just gets too full and makes things hard to find.

It is easier for a poster to throw everything in the 3G forum, but not for the reader who is looking for something specific. We are at the point on 3G where we get two pages of new threads everyday.

The use of the search tool and the New Posts tool will be of great assistance for frequent users.

I think we will all get used to it. :)

:werd: What XP said.

To find the type of question you want answered, it's simply easier to go to the appropriate subforum. When moving threads, we usually leave a redirect link so that the maximum number of people can follow the thread.

HTH.
