hehe im board and eventhough i know this should prb go in rambling, i thought i would give it a go in the 04 room since it is an 04 tl that i am talking about.
well my parents for some strange reason have all their wines stored on the east coast, and it was my duty to use my trunk to bring back 5 cases of port (i guess we are running low). well im sure glad i didnt upgrade my shocks because the rear wheels would have prb been in the wheel well.
anywho the car rides fine, with the slight notice of all that extra weight (the little civics can boast all they want as they pass me on the freeway)
i will have a full 8000 mile trip report when i get back on sunday

Neogeek, I thought you would go to Canada and wondered how you carried those wines through the border without having any trouble...
Plus, while cars are having the weighty cargo in a long trip, some ppl have ever reported the unbalanced wear with their rear tires (EL42s). Could you make a comparison for us after carrying this heavy loads all the way home?
Maybe you could take a close shot now, and do the later photo comparison next week.

rets: umm umm what are you talking about? what wine? you must be seeing things? hehe no my parents have some paper saying that as long as the crates arnt open, we are exempt from any dutys... not sure how it works.
the treat... very interesting. well i will take a pic of it tommorrow. i still have 2500 more miles to go so i am sure we will see some wear on them tires in no time.
when i was going 85-90 on the canadian roads, the car was shaking like a mother, roads looked fine, i wonder if it had to do with the tires. after going through canada, i definatly had all the knotts taken out of my arm muscles...
btw, i really sucks that canadians cant take advantage of XM when it worked flawlessly as i was going through ontario... what a shame... what a shame
