Can anyone recommend a shop which sell high quality Automatic transmission fluid for the TL. I am looking for something like Redline or equivalent racing quality fluid. Thanks for the Help.

Only use acura(honda) transmission oil.

there are only a few ziners on non honda fluid- and they are well past warranty and dont care
Change it with Honda fluid to protect the warranty- these trans have a nasty habit of failing just after 50k miles, Acura does Goodwill warranty most of the time, IF you can prove at least a 3 qt change in its lifetime.

I use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF in my 2006 TL and my wife's 2003 RL for the past 1-1/2 years (I perfomed a complete flush - drain/fill for 4 times). No problems what so ever. Just firmer, crisper shifts. Oh, and no headaches going to the stealer to pay $$ for average fluid. The Mobil1 is available at Walmart.

Before commiting this heresy, I did extensive searching on Google and on Bob-is-the-oil-guy web site. For those in the know, the common consensus was that the Honda Z1 ATF has additives which causes slippage (desired slippage by design). And, if one was to forego these slippage additives, no harm would be caused other than firmer shifts. Someone say "firmer shifts" (less wear on the clutch plates)... sign me up.

when mobil 1 use to tell you to use honda fluid on honda cars you know something's up........they now have a multi vehicle synthetic that supposidly can be used in place of it but somehow I doubt that a fluid that can be used in ALL of these cars is suitable for a honda/acura
