I have about 600 mi. on my '04 TL and have a loud tapping sound coming from the rear deck on the right side. It seems to be very near the speaker area. It's louder than the stereo. It happens when driving on a concrete road surface with joints every 15-20 feet or so. I've tried to pin point it, but may have to ask the dealer find it.

Some of you may have seen my other thread about my Homelink problem and rattles on my car I just bought the other day. The day I picked it up it had three different rattles.

I picked the car up today from getting the problems fixed, and I was VERY impressed with how thorough the dealer was in fixing everything. I just read the service write-up they had to submit to Acura for the Warranty claim. It appears they actually did find the cause of all three rattles. I have only driven it about 18 miles home from the dealer, but there were no rattles (and the Homelink now works).

For anyone in Houston, this was Champion Acura on the Gulf Freeway (Used to be Charlie Thomas). Also, they just hired a new General Manager the other day, and I talked to him when I took the car in. I didn't get to see him when I picked it up. Two hours later he called me (yes, the General Manager). He was concerned as to why I did not come see him. They had loaned me their loaded demo for two days, and when he saw it parked out front this afternoon, he was upset I didn't come see him. I was very impressed with him.

I have a small annoying rattle that comes from my drivers window next to my ear (Noticed it since day one). Seems to come and go on different road conditions. I read some threads here on how to fix the problem but I just haven't got around to it yet.

I got my TL feb.14,2004 now i have 2,500 on it already. the car runs smoothly, no hard starting, no rattle at all, no vibrations, nothing at all.

the driver's visor rattles, that has been about it so far.

I have a rattle somewhere under the gear shift (5AT). I am still trying to locate it, for the old fix it yourself... Anyone have the same ?? And what was it ??
