I'm another one...as if some may not know from the 'suggestions' I've posted about generalizations.
I did my homework to find the perfect car to replace my Bimmer, and the TL-S is it!
Absolutely no regrets. And it does get attention.
Not too many around this area, and I saw the first female TLS driver here, a blonde in a NBP the other day...I was riding with friends in a pickup so she didn't even notice my rubber-necking.
I always try to grab attention of any Acura driver...no matter the model, but especially TLs. Was on a road trip and stopped at a rest stop...when I came out, a couple with a TL was waiting for me outside to compare cars.
I love to move fast, but only where it's safe and I feel in control, and I am getting even more cautious after reading some of the major killer accidents I see on here. Have kept my record clean and only had to talk myself out of two tickets.
BTW, CBP. Love it. Beautiful car.

my gf has been around me for so long she got the bug.. although she doesn't drive a TL shes still good in my book.. she decided to go with an 01 lexus gs300.. just cuz it basically has a supra motor in it.. just the fact that she knows what motor it has shows she has come a LOOONNG way!!

hey what's up...this is my ride
as far as mods...lets's see...i got it dropped with tein ss, rollin on 19" racing hart pro 5, chamber kit (never had time to install...yep my car is chambered) i also bought a roof spoiler but the damn 3m tape won't hold...until i get that right, i'll post up new pic...my hands are itching to do some more mods on this car...next up would be a lip kit or full on body kit, just to single myself out from the rest of the cars here on AZ...so far no luck on the body kits...i'm not looking for anything fancy...just CLEAN...if anybody knows...holla at cha girl!!!

1: What size socket if your oil drain plug?
2: Where is the rear top strut mount located?
3: What size socket is used to bolt down the sway bar link to both the sway bar and control arm?
4: What size socket is used for the bolt that holds the REAR bottom of the suspension to the control arm?
5: Fill in the blank: Front BOTTOM suspension sits directly into the ****? Hint its used to eat your dinner
And never mind doing some research or running to your spouces!

I was reluctant to purchase the TL because I viewed it as more of a "chick car". This is because the majority of the people I saw driving it in my town were women. I was just coming off of a Lexus GS400 and this car seemed to be very small. But at the suggestion of a co-worker I test drove the TL. And to be honest, as I felt the car was nice, I agreed with the "chick car" sentiment. After driving the Type-S my opinion changed. So I bought the Type-S and I haven't been as pleased with any car as I have with this one.
Are you serious with that question?

no mods to my car just yet. just tints. i wanna start modding but i don't know too much about modding, hence why i'm here.
but yea..i am starting to see more chicks with TL's in my area and they are pretty much stock it seems

I'll never forgot the time on this old forum I used to frequent back in the day....some girl loved being the center of attention on that site, always posting pictures of herself and her dads many exotic cars etc.., then somebody called 'her' out on it, saying he knew the girl that this person was posting pictures of. So he asked the actual girl if it was actually her posting, she said no, the guy contacted the mods and he IP traced the poster. IIRC, the girl pressed charges or something 
They showed pics of the person, who ended up being some skinny nerdy dweeb.
Didn't somebody do that on this site? Saying he had a STi and all these other cars, and his girlfriend was in the passenger seat etc...then somebody actually knew the guys car and girl

It's sort of like exotic cars and super fancy cars don't attract women too much. I remember when i was walking down the street and saw a nice Lamborghini going down, or a nice Mercedes... i notice that my then girlfriend, and other couples, that the women don't look. The guys though turn heads. Seriously, they don't care
