where does 3rd gear engage after shifting from 6200+?

for those w/ 6mt, where does your 3rd gear engage after you shift from 2nd at around 6200-6800?

mine drops below vtec and it's hard to keep the car going when you are trying to push the car hard.

vtec is about 4700 when you shift near redline at 2nd gear you should be right around that area.

Honda sets the gear ratios of all its cars to be in the fat part fo the power curve when the next gear is selected (all mfr's do - it yields best acceleration). I have to agree that you need to improve your shift technique - the car is fine.
