Where can I get a bra or nose mask for my new TL?
I am picking up a "new" 2007 Acura TL later this week and need to get a bra or nose mask for it asap. I would never drive a nice car like the TL without one, too much damage for the high speed driving and maneuvers that I will be doing. Does anyone know where I can find a good fit for one? Would like to see your photos as well.
This is what I am driving previously, and I get a lot of positive comments from it as well.

I put a clear bra on in October myself. It was not easy. I could not get it to fit correctly. Do a search. There are a lot of threads on this topic. After one winter without it, I wish I put it on right when I bought the car. Now I have chips under the bra, but at least it's not getting worse. Now, after driving only half the winter, I have dings in the bra! The rocks are bad here in the winter. I think I bought mine from Invisible Shield.

This is what you're looking for in terms of a bra. The hood piece and around the grills/bumpers fit great. Only issue I had was around the headlights where you insert the mask tabs between the light housing and the bumper. Left home with everything in it's place but everytime I arrived at my destination, the slots had come out. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can only guess the vibration of the car allowed the tabs to work themselves free. I tried adjusting the areas around the mask hoping to relieve any tension that may be pulling on the tabs, but no luck. It would also bunch up around the light housing and create gaps.
In terms of protection, it worked great. Saved me alot of wear and tear during my daily out-of-town highway commutes to work. Now the only road my TL sees is my wife driving it to work and to church. Took the bra off because I just got tired of looking at those tabs.

I bought mine @ the dealership...just happen to ask if they have anything on special while at the parts counter, and got mines for a pretty good price ($75 CDN + taxes), so i picked it up. But i only use it for my long drives which i do once a year.

95% of what your talking about happens with cheap non OEM bras that don't fit right and move around.
Assuming from his screen name he is in Florida so winter grit shouldn't even be an issue.
Biggest thing I have against clear bra is after a couple of years the marring in the bra from debris hazes the film and it has to be replaced or it looks like crap.

It is interesting, but the nose masks for cars were really very popular about 25 years ago, but very few people seem to use them anymore. I think it does draw more attention to your car. There are so many TLs out there, this will draw some interest.
