Where to buy A-spec body kit in Toronto area
Ok, I've searched high an low through the old posts and cant find anything recent enough on this.
I just picked up an 07 Type-S in NBP about 2 weeks ago.
I love the car and it's time to get an a-spec body kit for it.
I know hondacuraworld has the group buy going for $800 but being in Canada we get burned for additional shipping then brokerage and taxes at the border which can easily add another $500 bucks to that by the time it gets here.
(Trust me, you Americans don't know how good you've got it when it comes to actually having competative pricing, and reasonable shipping charges)
I tried Acura Woodbine but they quoted me "$1692.26 less 15% plus tax".
Have any of you found any better local deals this season?
Thanks in advance

Interesting !! would love to know more about this. I am in Ottawa and having the same problem. Duty and shipping charges are rapping us pretty bad... this ideas seems like a good and possible solution.

Last year I think the dealer in St.Catherines was selling them cheap. I also know that during april there was a honda campaign to get all those kits off there shelves and they were a couple hundred off, now whether the dealer passed those savings on or not is a whole other issue.

Thanks for the responses guys.
I'll fire off an email the the St Catherines Acura and see what they can offer.
Driving across the border to get it done does seem to be the most economical option (even though it shouldn't be if the dealers here put a little effort in to being competative) but it's also a bit of a logistical problem if you're not right at the border. I'm only about 1-1/2 hours away but I've go to locate a dealer just across the border, negotiate a competative price, get them to order it and trust me to show up, and make sure that they can get it installed when I show up since I'm guessing it won't fit in the trunk...lol. Lots of opportunity for things to go not according to plan.
Hey cKHyper, where did you get yours for $1100-1200?....Was that plus taxes?.....did you install it yourself or get te dealer to do it?
I'm not worried about installing it myself, it's more of the headache of having to transport it if it's not local enough to have a friend with a larger vehicle pick it up.
Thanks again

If not--you could just easily go to Detroit and hook yourself up lol

I'd probably go to detroit to get one if I did though. I bought my tires there and saved a bundle, $400 bucks.
