Where are you guys buying your DW-1 ?

My local dealer wants $8.23 a quart + Tax (Raleigh NC)

Cheapest I found was 7.43 a quart shipped (have to buy a case) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=171097873437&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

anywhere else better ?

I get mine from local dealership. For something that cost under $10 I dont really spend too much time trying to find the lowest possible price and save $1-2

my local dealership guys are pretty cool though they give me their employee discount so its usually pretty cheap anyways

7.56 (OP you came up with 7.43 a quart- maybe my math is wrong) a quart is not too bad at all.

That's where I get mine (eBay). The last case I got was something like $82. or $84. shipped. If it is still in my history, I will pm you the seller info. Between my 04 TL and my wife's 04 Pilot-- we are in finicky transmission hell. If you have more than one car to do (and you do the 3X3 all at once), the least expensive the better-- but as paperboy said-- for 3 quarts every few months, it really doesn't make much difference.

Dealer. I'm not going to worry about a dollar per bottle.

Usually when I do a drain &fill I have plans to do other stuff on the car as well while its on stands, so i just run over to the dealer and grab some before I get started. It isnt something I wanna wait around for to save a few dollars.

My wife has a 2012 civic so I plan on getting the whole case. I'll just order online from somewhere.

Check your math.

74.04+15.24=89.28

89.28/12= 7.44 a quart.

I picked up a case of 12 on amazon. I ended up using a bit more than 3 quarts at the last 3x3 so it was nice to have some extra.

I did. The difference between our two numbers is the shipping. Shipping to my zip code is 16.74. That's how I got to 7.56 per quart. Either way, not a bad deal at all.

I've gotten mine from the dealer. Last time it was about $7+ for a qt. Not too bad.

Note to self - you need to do a 1x3.

I've been slacking a bit with maintenance because it is too f-ing cold. I need to do a 1x3, an oil change and a tire rotation. It's supposed to warm up this weekend. If I get the car back from the body shop on Friday then I'll knock all that out.
