Not sure if this is correct, but I think that I read elsewhere on this forum that Bluetooth interferes with Nextel's radio (direct connect) and therefore it is not possible to have both. If so, bummer, as my wife and I are both on Nextel (mine is a work phone).

u kidding adding bluetooth feature to those behemoth phones? i dunno if it makes much sense for the nextel's because of the walky talky feature they try to sell. the blue tooth offers hands free use but for the walky talky you will still have to keep one hand on the phone and press talk. personally i think those phones are big and annoying. its rude to have a cell phone conversation in front of someone but to hear the whole gosh darn thing drives me nuts.

I don't think Nextel is getting bluetooth on their phones. I imagine it has to do with something with the frequency of bluetooth and the tin can feature aka walkie talkie. :lol2:

blazin_tl is right. the i930 is gonna have bluetooth. wish i knew before getting an i730 from i95 
but oh well. i could drop nextel and get another provider but i'll loose my consistent signal. had pac bell (cingular, t-mobile whatever you call it, they use the same network) prior to nextel and couldn't even use it in my house lol.
wish nextel would keep up w/ other phone provider's cell phone features but i guess it's hard when they're own network is more sophisticated.
BTW don't even bother asking any of the local nextel stores/rep coz they don't know jack sh!t about the new hardware coming out. www.howardforums.com is a good source of info plus it shows you how to get your ringtones and wall paper free
