My other car which I drive daily to work is a 1994 Honda DelSol. It's a great little car, still looks awesome with gas mileage averaging 40mpg to and from work.

How do you like the MDX? Would you be kind enough to list pros/cons as compared with any other SUVs you may have owned or driven?

What kind of pup do you have? I have a min daschund...6 y/o fem and she's my world.

MDX is a solid car, just had tranny replaced and covered by extended warranty. Had Toyotas and Mazda prior to this, they were ok, the Toy did hold its' value better. But, I have found that a car is only as good as the dealer who backs and repairs them. My dealer is great, treats us the way we want to be treated after plunking down a good chunk of change Would definitely purchase another MDX again. Rides more like a car, my wife loves it, and when you think about it, watching all the BS commercials on TV about mud splashing, rock climbing, and ground clearance??? Most SUVs never get off pavement, so you compromise ride and comfort for what?? Judging by the yuppies purchasing these things in New England it's safe to say commercials win out here. Never seen so many SUVs pass me on the interstate going 70-80 mph in a snow storm, these morons never thinking that we all stop the same way, with the same amount of tread contact to the pavement, or better yet the women stuck at the bottom of the hill, seen on the local news, who didn't know how to put her new SUV in to 4 wheel drive.
My dog? a feisty 2 year old Golden.

Much Props to the CLIPS and Brand, but Cassell and Mobley are what turned them around.

The Clips are the best team RIGHT NOW, but The Lakers are the ones that have all the rings.

Sorry Clips fans, but don't start comparing the CLIPS to the Lakers just yet.

I like the CLIPS, but the Lakers own L.A.!

As far as SHAQ goes.....Good Riddens!

[QUOTE=joed40]MDX is a solid car.QUOTE]

I am considering selling the Suburban and getting the MDX.
The Suburban is a beast, it is huge and i can't think of a more comfortable vehicle to be in on a long drive, except for a mobile home.

But it doesn't fit in the garage, so its always dirty and my wife likes the MDX so if i get ther that one I can take over the TL.

But I really like the SUB. Decisions...decisions...

Good to hear your take on the MDX.

I have a 2002 Isuzu Trooper and I take it off-road here in Colorado, especially in the summer. I'm not into hard core 4-wheeling, but I do use it several times a summer. The problem is, the gas mileage is awful - about 14 mpg.

I do love the MDX though. If we do decide to stop car camping and I no longer need a vehicle for serious 4-wheeling, then I will probably buy an MDX.

My other car is a Porsche Carrera 4

Purchased after the TL, it has certainly toned down my enthusiasm for the Acura.

Newest: 2006 Cadillac CTS (250 miles- we just got this new with Navi/ Luxury Pkg/ Bose stereo/ sunroof/ automatic trans: $36,900, and 3.9% 4 year financing- listed for $42.3K)- White Diamond color. Excellent end of the year deals, and a very solid car. Apparently reliable as well-
2000 Acura TL (85K miles- should be good for at least 200K according to Kris)- WDP
2004 Toyota MR-2 Spyder (8.3K -recreational/ sports car)- Electric Green Mica
2000 Honda ST1100 (~13K) Burgundy

The wife and I have a Hyundai Elantra (01), but it's going to her daughter. 85K and still very strong!

In addition to my '00 TL-P/Navi, my wife drives our latest, 7-week old addition to the family: a 2003 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with 42K miles. It replaced our 1999 Expedition, which replaced our 1998 Expedition. What a truck! Teh '98 saved my skin once, and I've been loyal ever since. No mid-size SUV for MY family. We like that FULL-SIZE protection!

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee for the winter. My TL came out of Port Charolette FL. It's hasn't seen a winter yet... nor do I plan on letting it. It gets stored in a climate controlled building and sits on two layers of burbur carpeting...
