What's it worth? '05 Anthracite 6MT NAV 101k
I'm not sure if it's OK to post something like this, but we'll see if it gets deleted..
Time for me to get a truck, so the TL is going to go. '05 base model, anthracite exterior, black interior, 6 speed manual (gets type S front brakes), navigation, 101k miles. Car is stock except 35% tint and added OEM all season rubber floor mats and trunk mat. New tires a couple years ago (Continental extreme contact DWS), new front brake pads and rotors and new pads on rear this past summer, battery last summer, plugs and wires few years ago, Mobil1 oil changes as indicators calls for it. Have fixed a majority of the nuissance TL problems: replaced the hands free link module, the cup holder assembly (broken bread box slider deal), fixed the package tray rattle, done the synchromesh trans fluid change. I had the seat/mirror memory thing replaced a few years ago when it was still under warranty, but it occassionally goes bananas again now when it's cold. Updated the Navigation disk in 2011 or 2012 maybe. Dash shows typical cracking, although it'll have a dashtopper.com cover here soon. I'm the second owner, previous owner was a woman in Florida who moved up to a CTS-V (cool chick!), car is pretty nice overall IMO. CARFAX shows nothing although it's had a few small hail dings PDR'ed (yes I'm an overly honest seller). Interior has two small knicks, one on driver door above inside handle looks like a woman's wedding diamond poked the leather, and a similar small tear on the outboard edge of the glovebox. The aluminum trim pieces that run up the dash from the console are pretty scratched up from what I think was previous gal's bracelets or watch. The car gets parked outside at work so the Kansas summer sun is showing some effect on paint although my detail guy has it pretty well shined up right now. Few tiny rock chips on leading edge of fenders. Wheels show a little rash (again blaming woman prior owner, haha). That's all the negatives, the positives are that it runs great, still looks incredible, been well maintained, great fuel economy (24/25 in town, 29-30 freeway hauling azz, 31-32 freeway driving more conservatively), I really hate to get rid of it but a truck is becoming a necessity.
So that's the car overall, I've probably talked it down more than necessary, afterall it's a 9 year old 101k mile car. It really is pretty nice. KBB only says around $10k while NADA says $12k. I've looked at a couple others locally for $12-13k and mine is waaaaayyyy nicer.
Any input greatly appreciated, I really just don't know where to start, otherwise I'd have followed the rules and just made a for sale ad in the classifieds.
Thanks,
TJ

The 10-12k range doesn't sound unreasonable. I recently saw an 05 6MT with navi go for 11k close by me, was listed by a dealer though as opposed to a private seller.
