What's my 2005 6MT A-SPec worth?
Hi guys, i have a 2005 A-Spec with 6 Speed Manual (Brembo Brakes). Car has 250K miles on it. It runs beautifully and needs nothing. There's a few dings on the paint but it's in great cosmetic condition, overall. It does have the cracked dash issue. This is my second vehicle and i don't drive it as often as it deserves. On one hand, I want to drive it as long as possible and see how far this baby can go. On the other hand, if I could get a decent amount of $$ for it, i could use it to buy more stuff for my other car (2000 Porsche 911).
Is the A-Spec version that rare and desirable? The body kit looks nice and the wing on the trunk is tasteful, without being "too much".
What's your opinions?

With what limited information you provided, I wouldnt pay more than 4-4.5k, and thats assuming the leather and rest of interior are in ok shape and no body panels need immediate repainting/correction.

I didn’t realize that A-Spec comes with a special badge or wheels. I thought the body kit/6MT/brembo brake package is what defines an A-Spec. What would I be missing, besides a badge, that would be the difference?

True A-spec should come with the following things.
1. Ground effect kit all around.
2. 18" wheels 10 spoke (04 has 18" wheel with 8.5 wide instead of 8)
3. A-spec badge
4. Suspension (lower about .25"-.5" its no longer available to purchase from Honda)
5. Steering wheel.
6. 05-06 Aspec came with rear spoiler (not deck lid spoiler).
7. 05-06 AT has special brake pads compound.

Thanks! I didn’t know all of that. My steering wheel looks very similar to what you guys posted. So it seems as though my car was ordered to have many features of the A-Spec cars, but is not truly an A-Spec. The only difference appears to be the wheels, and perhaps the suspension. I can’t confirm whether my car is lowered more than a typical TL or not.

At that age and mileage it's immaterial if those pieces are not installed. If you do clear $3k will this make the 911 a daily driver if so I'd just keep it and run it out vs racking up miles on the P car

at this point, I would keep driving the car until you ready for a replacement. You won't able to get much for the car anyway.

yep I would drive that thing into the ground and keep the Porsche as your garage queen

IF you want top dollar, private sale is your best deal. Ask whatever price you want and folks will haggle always. The rear wing turns off a lot of folks, but the right buyer might love it. If you have a new clutch and the waterpump service done recently, you can get $5-6K. If not, closer to $4K
