It could be done that way but takes x10 longer and not as precise as a fender roller.
That's usually how you do it for the hard to reach spots for the roller.
i wouldn't but that's just me. how about renting a fender roller from autozone? i've heard about this quite a bit but never done it myself
Autozone does NOT have fender rollers, but if you go on Ebay for like $50 you can rent a professional fender roller. Then you just pay shipping to have it sent back.
