Two dealers told me production on the manual '07s had stopped. Could be salesman BS, not sure but it makes sense. Manual Type-S' are hard to find nowadays.

Also, one salesman told me "you'd better buy the '07 Type-S because Acura isn't making them in '08'. This of course was just BS for me to "buy now instead of waiting". Other dealers have already confirmed that Acura will be making Type-S' in '08. Gotta love salesman!!

So the conclusion would be that if you live in S. CAL you will get the best deal around. If you live in mid west like me, you will get a pricy one.

This really sucks. However, you don't want to compare the housing price

5 days ago for $35,500. All the same stuff as the rest of you included. Ball Acura in National City, but if you tell them Power Acura did it for less, they'll bite!

I wish I would have read about the sub $35,500 prices earlier. Well no big deal. I'm happy with the car.

If you're willing to travel a little to a dealer in the tri-state area (as you seem you are)...you can DEFINITELY get the car for invoice

Let me know either via post or PM where you're located...I know of couple dealers that will do the car for invoice with some haggling

Ok you suck, we bought ours at the same dealer. Who was your salesman, so I know for when I buy the MDX or RDX. I guess I was just a stupidass for paying just under sticker price, lol. I guess me forcing them to take care of 3 years of oil changes and tire rotations cost me, lol. They did take off $500 for the license plate bracket though, and now that I have removed than and just put the black inserts in, it was free money in my pocket!

Blazinginder have you modified anyting on your ride yet? I havn't had much time myself.

On May 29th I bought my TL-S (KBP, Ebony/Silver) at Stevens Creek Acura in the San Jose area for $34,944 including destination, wheel locks and trunk mat. This is $500 below invoice. Louis Lin is a great internet salesperson and THE man to deal with. I sent feelers out throughout the central San Joaquin Valley but NO ONE would deal with me like Louis. He said that they would sell for invoice, but if I financed (darn, I had to sign up for the 3.9% financing deal) with Acura I could have the car for $500 below invoice.

Painless and quick.

Awesome vehicle.

I paid $35,600 which includes High perf tires, mud guards, trunk liner, and wheel locks. This was in April of 2007. Make sure you know exactly what you want and call around/email to solidify your price.

I had many options for dealerships, considering I live in the SF Bay Area. I prob could has found a better deal, but I didn't care to low ball. I found a sales rep and dealership that had what I was looking for and straightforward about pricing.

Good luck!

I fin 8k and paid it off 6 months later Good Luck with you purchase

I was offered a 07 Type-@ for $500 under invoice with splach guards, trunk mat and wheel locks or an 08 for $400 over invocie same options, I opted for the 08. The $2500 is not so much a rebate, but dealer incentive, not sure how dealers are handling that or passing some of it on to customers, I know I squeezed best I could they woudl not go lower than $500 under invoice for 07, and actually toher dealers only went down to invoice for 07. I did then put more effort into getting an 08 for $400 over invoice and loving the car!

For an 07, I've heard plenty of offers at under 33k before taxes.
For he who paid 32.5k, that was BEFORE taxes right? Because that would be insano!

Under 33k for a Type S? They would have either low balled on a trade and sold the TL at a loss while making up the difference on the sale of the trade or are banking on you purchasing a protection package or other accessories.

If you guys are getting offers like that with no catch then best of luck to you.

I've had that offer direct from a Southern CA dealer, and had it matched by a local dealer here.

Under 33K on an 07 TL-S you are getting into the dealer holdback. This would be an unusually good deal, but I suppose it is possible. Be careful that they aren't getting the money back from you on trade-in, financing, or add-on packages.

Which dealers in SoCal??

Please recommend some dealers in SoCal, especially if they are in the $33k range.

Seriously, I'd drive down to SoCal... Anything below 33.2K and the car is sold at a loss. That includes hold back $1500...

I paid 35500 plus TTL .... zero down & 3.9% int. rate ... this was in April ...

Not the best deal but I was happy with it as it was the best I could find at that time ...

Very happy with the car so far ...

I'm beginning to think the 2500 incentive is for SoCal only and not the NorCal region....
