What tint is on your 3G?
Looking to tint my windows this week and wondering what everyone else is using. I have NBP and i want a decent tint not blacked but something that will flow with the black color of the car

In PA, tint is illegal.
With that said, I went with 35%, which is legal in MD where I do most of my driving. I have had no problems passing inspection.
Make sure they do the rear quarter windows correctly---there should be no gaps. Many places will try to tell you it can't be done. Don't fall for that shit. Make them do it right.

35 front, 20 rear.
I would have gotten 20 all the way around, but here in VA the law is 50/35, so i figured having a contrast between front and back would help keep cops away, since you can't tell just by looking at it how dark it is; you just see a difference between front/back

I'm in Florida and I have 15% All around FTW Except for the Windshield. I'm thinking of throwing 50% or Higher on the windshield just to reduce the UV rays and Sun Glare. It is Illegal to tint the front windshield here but like I said FTW.... Legal is 35% Front windows and 15% Back windows.

They show a legal tint limit of 70%, which is basically OEM.
Remember, the lower the % number, the darker the tint.

My car had 7% on the front when I got pulled over and the rear is even darker. As I was removing the tint from the front to get ticket dismissed, I realized there were 2 layers of tint on there. I removed one and when I went to have the deputy check it for ticket dismissal he didn't even measure the % and he approved. TX law states 25% min up front.

Sorry, no pics at the moment, but .... my "new" NBP just got 35% Llumar ceramic all-around and it looks great! Some tints are more bronze than gray and that's why I went with this specific tint (Plus, it has the best heat rejection). If you want it to "flow" as you say, then the same tint % all around ... don't juggle front/rear stuff ... it will show up upon scrutiny, IMHO.

10% all the way around except windshield which I may do CBP strip for now leaving alone.
privacy is nice because everyone here bugs out seeing a nice car and I have the only tl type s in about 100 mile radius.
And cool leather in 100+ degree weather is a plus.
Acura needs A/C seats along with heated.
