What should I expect to pay for a brand new 2005 TL

I went to my local dealership in Larchmont, NY to price out a 2005 TL with Navi and I was quoted about 38k for it after taxes. I thought this was a bit too much considering that I've seen people pay about 35k with navi. Can anyone recommend another dealership within the tri-state NY area that can offer good prices and low taxes. And roughly what should I expect to be paying. Any help is greatly appreciated.

the average price ppl been paying here in nyc are $32,000-$34,000 before tax, title, etc. you can try curry acura, rallye or acura of bklyn which is where i got my car for $33,250 before tax, title, etc.. as for the taxes, there is no way around that.

btw, stay away from paragon acura in queens. good luck.

hey I10, where in Jersey did you get yours and what was the total after taxes?

I was gonna try curry acura this coming weekend. I know there is no way around the taxes but even if i can get the car at alittle above invoice then that'll save me a few dollars on payments.

Ryan's Open Road Acura in East Brunswick, NJ (on rt 18s - exit 9 off the Turnpike)
05 Anth/Ebony Navi for 33k (including dest), 35418 after taxes...etc.

But I'm not sure how it all works buying out of state. I know that you have to do the registration yourself, but I also think you have to pay your local taxes. I assume this because that is what happens when you buy a used car off of someoen and brign the title to the DMV, you have to show how much you paid for it, and they tax you on that. I don't know I could be totally wrong.
