What kind of places clear headlights?

I was wondering if anyone cleared their headlights in the Portland area and had any recommendations as to where to get it done? I was thinking about doing it myself until I read all the horror stories about the Fogging, etc.

I've been asking around and no one who lives in this area really knows of a professional place to get your headlights cleared and blacked out. What kind of places exactly clears headlights for you? I can do it myself, but I'm afraid of fog.

I think their is a few places that might do them up here in Vancouver Canada. However, it will be a 2hr drive north for you if you don't mind.

I went to 2 diff places this morning: Speed Concept and Race Design and both told me that "they don't make it for TL yet." Then I clarified, no I mean clearing the amber. They both told me that the only options would be doing it myself? They didn't know of a place that could do it for me either...I would rather not do it myself and have it fog up.

Shops do not want to be held liable if they do mess up. If you want them to do it, just offer to sign a waiver of liability and they will probably do it. It takes a whole day to do headlights.

All I want them to hold themselves accountable is if they mess up on the sealing process. Also, I don't even know how to black out the headlights, I can only clear them. The shops told me they didn't have the necessary tools there? It's true I guess, I don't know many auto-shops with ovens there.

If you don't mind not using your car at night (or for a few days all together) you could aways send the headlights to .
