Yea, I agree that there are more aftermarket mods that will get the G to 11-12s, I think that's mostly due to the fact that there's the G35 coupe and the 350z, the market is bigger, while the J series is limited to the Accord and TL, and the CL didn't sell very well. If you want a really fast V6 Honda, the only way to do it is get the NSX.

Head over to CL forum and check out what people there can do. They also have a 1/4mile compilation thread, which they started a few days (yes, a few days...) ago. Seem to me that the TL drivers are not as good as the CL drivers...

CL-S 5AT:
14.59 @ 96.67 mph (90k miles, 235/45/17 kumho asx tires, removed resonator and mufflers from exhaust, homemade cold air intake, removed spare tire and jack)

14.4@NA mph (90k miles, xs headers, injen intake, 18" wheels)

14.43@ 101mph (2.28 60ft, I/H/P, lightweight wheels, 57 degrees)

CL-S 6MT
13.306@105.83mph (3.5L, headers, ICE BOX,SPOON 160* T stat/fan switch/cap,LW crank pulley,Koni yellow SP3, SSR competion,UNI Chip,VSA delet.Thermo block intake spacer,King P&P TB, p$p upper/lower intake)

13.9@98.5mph (CT Icebox, H&R Sports w/Tokico Illumina's, 225/45/17 BFG Drag radials on 17x7 CenterLine Storms (40lbs wheel/tire combo), 19's out back and a 1/2 tank of gas)

SC CLS
13.4 @ 108 MPH... Everything Comptech, D2 Coils and SSR Competitions.

13.4@105: '01 CLS, Comptech S/C, HBP, Icebox and exhaust, UR crank pulley
i'm just waiting for the c/t supercharger for the 3g TL-S.... Then I think we'll start seeing low 13's for auto/high 12's for 6MT's... I might be wrong but isn't hondata working on a chip?

I wonder why all these companies are so hell bent on SC's for TLs? Why not a turbo setup that makes the same power with a lot less boost and offers so much more power under the curve? It's so easy to plumb with the FWD drivetrain layout.

I hope nothing that goes over 134mph. That seems to be the computer controlled limit on 07-08 tl type-s with the 5at transmission.

But I seen a vid of a TL(non s) go like 150mph.. I know it's somewhere on here... I couldn't see the TL's speed limit being higher than the TL-S

Type-S with 5AT is evidently limited to 133. I'm glad I bought an 06' 6MT.
