I am thinking seriously about a new TV for the family room, a Bang & Olufsen Beovision 7 (the black cabinet shown in the picture isn't included and isn't something I want):



We were told what our bonuses would be on Wednesday. Then on Friday I got a call to advise that mine had been doubled. Hard to complain about that! Happy Christmas indeed!!!!!

I know. That's why I don't have one yet. It's not a question of coming up with the money, but rather of whether I want to spend $14,000 on a TV. It's an amazing TV, though. Seen it in the B&O store at Tysons and it really sells itself; even Ms1995hoo said that's the one I should get (easy to say that when it's someone else's money).

The stand is motorized and you can use the remote to tilt and pivot the screen as needed (quite nice in my family room, which is attached to the kitchen, as it would allow me to pivot the TV around if I'm over in the kitchen side....and it also allows perfect positioning so as to see the TV from the nearby bathroom whilst taking a crap).

A DVD player is built in, but at the store they had it connected to a Blu-Ray player showing a movie at 1080p

 

Don't have pics yet, but I bought a new G35x (pick it up on Saturday, trading in the TL).

 

Ethan, I have a couple of those in the car... Totally bad ass flashlights. They're made by Inova... That one is known as the X03. Interestingly, Target carries them as well. I have an X03 in the console, and an X5 in the briefcase.

 

Ill tell ya Chris I was amazed at how bright it was. My buddy flashed it in my face for a split second. I was seeing spots for a fucking hour.

You have any suggestions on a 1nch for my pistola?

I just got myself a Samsung 50" plasma and a PS3 with Call of Duty 4... Nothing too serious. The B&O is nice, but I wasnt about ready to pay an extra 12K just for motorized movement and integrated dvd player. (PS B&O Beovision 7, is exact same as samsung except the movement, integrated dvd player, n center channel speaker)
