What did a 2008 TL-S really sell for (MSRP was 39k)?

I just recently purchased my 2008 TL-S manual for about 26k (26k miles, certified) I thought I got a decent deal, maybe overpaid a little but I needed to have it . Anywy, I looked at the original sticker and it was like 39k with a 750 destination fee !! For those of you who bought there car new do you remember what you paid ? I remember at the end of 2008 the car could be had for around 33k with incentives....not sure if that would have worked on a manual shift one though.

Scan a few pages in this thread, starting, say, at post 1200 (page 31).

I paid $36,500. That seemed typical, but some of the SoCal guys were paying (iirc) around $35,000.

That's 2G TL-S territory. Sorry, but I think your memory is off on this one, J.

You'll have to dig up a post to prove it to me. Or not; no pressure.

I think your off on this one. 28k for a new TL-S ? Even with incentives that would be about 5k lower than anything Ive seen on the "prices paid" thread that someone was nice enough to refer me to.
Now 28K for a base non navi TL--THAT I could see.

Yeah thats a little hard to believe considering 4 years later they are still being listed for sale in the high 20's. So from what your saying that some TL's that sold new for 28 to 30K have depreciated ZERO in 4 years? Yeah not soo much.

In my area alone there is currently 4 Acura TL Type S's listed at 29 or 30K.

I paid $33.5k (excluding taxes) when I bought my TL-S new Labor Day weekend 2008. No trade in involved. It's been a problem free car with 26k miles on the odometer.

I think I paid $29k for my '02 TL-S and it didn't have navi.
