I was wondering what the color of the 04 TL rims are (the stock ones, not the A-Specs.) Are they Satin Silver Metalic, Metalic Silver, same paint as the car? The reason I ask is because I would like to get some aftermarket rims of the same color. I love the color of the rims and they are so easy to take care of. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. BTW...I know this is the wrong forum to ask this in, but I posted it in the Wheel and Tire forum, had 23 views but no response. HELP!!!

 

They are clear coated. I think the color is of a transparent coat.

 

I'm going to venture a guess that they're die-cast aluminum coated in a very thick clear layer.
