What cars have you driven through your life?
#41
You gotta be kidding, right?
I couldn't begin to list the cars I have driven. Gimme a break! But here's what I've owned:
1950 Mercury Convertible (rebuilt and hot-rodded motor when I was 15)
1940 Packard Hearse (high school)
1957 Chevy
1960 Pontiac
1965 Falcon (restored myself)
1972 Chopper
1974 Honda 550 m/c
1975 Honda 750 m/c
1982 Honda Sabre V-4 750 m/c
1978 Fairmont
1976 Granada
1986 Maxima
1987 RX-7
1990 Maxima
1992 Jeep Wrangler
2004 Acura TL
Most of my life, I've had a company provided car and didn't need my own. I won't go into those although they are extremely interesting because of my line of work. Think 007. :rocketwho

Wedding Bells!
What is hysterical about this thread is that I think, by reading your lists, that I can tell what year everyone got married. :lol2:
If you didn't get married, then I can tell what year you got the lobotomy!

Not me, I'm still single - how do you think I can afford my TL?? My more sedate period with the minivans was to support my hobby - RC Airplanes. Plus at the time I figured I was setting myself up for some serious speeding tickets and that was my way of controlling myself. I now have a pickup for the planes so back to the fast cars.

LOL - haven't thought about the "owned car" history for a while...pretty much in order....and yes, you can tell when I married AND got the lobotomy
66 VDub Bug (not 1 but 2 of 'dem)
76 Chevy Vega (that wierd blue color that drank 2 quarts of oil for breakfast)
72 Datsun 240Z (died when hit by '67 Cutlas station wagon after 2 years)
82 Jeep CJ7 (bought new - dang I miss this one)
86 Honda Accord (wife's 1st car when we married)
82 VDub Westfalia Camper (da Jeep paid for something a little more "family friendly")
92 Acura Vigor (still own w/ 200K+ miles - passed to 16 year old son)
88 Dodge Caravan (wife needed a bit more power than the VW)
96 Chrysler T & C (better half got a bit more luxury)
92 Chevy 1500 pickup (still own - workhorse around the property)
98 Southwind RV (not quite the same camping adventure as the VW)
90 Jeep Wrangler (got my Jeep back....mostly a tow vehicle for the RV)
04 Acura MDX (wife joined the Acura world...buh bye minivans)
04 Acura TL (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....life is good!)
