no i am not using the el42 i am using the stock RE's that came with the 6 speed. It's not a all season tire. Which is kick ass now but crappy in the winter as i found out. i will have to buy new rims and tires for the winter or just switch them over. for crappy weather. AS for cost wed and friday are $20.00 bucks and you need a helmet or you can rent one.

Just know that when you go on an Import event on Sunday, it's $30 to race AND can be VERY crowded. If you havent run before go on Wednesday night Test-Tune and Friday night street racing. If the Stang and Civic guys dont come in droves, you'll get a bunch of runs in.
Peace.
Peace.

I would pump the rear tires up to about 44 psi and drop the fronts to about 25 psi and take a pound out at a time. That may help the 60 foot and 1/4 mile times.
Nice run.

I heard that some people upped the PSI in the fronts to get a better 60 foot time.

Radials don't work like slicks, lowering tire pressure isn't going to help as much as people think. Also, when at the drag strip, don't drive thru the burnout box, all radial tires need is a couple of quick dry hops, driving thru the burnout box only drags water up to the starting line and pisses people with real race cars off because the water screws up their launch.
I raced a low 12 second Mustang on street tires (BF Goodrich Radial TA's) without going crazy on the burnouts.

KAzuaki the slip has been sent for posting thanks again. And i did pump the tires upto 44psi up front because the hop was horrible. but adding the air it allowed me to spin and that is what i wanted to 60ft better. i may go back 1 more time to try for a 14.1 or 14.0 but that is going to require 1 hell of a 60ft
