I'll stick to oem, they will do the job. I'm a sole driver, and I usually never have passengers, and I'm a quite of a neat freak, oem will be just fine, plus they look good

So the mats/liners in the autopartstent.com link for $60 arent't actually the ones they show in the picture?

By the way stillhere, if what you bought does not match the picture, you can get your money back, as this is false advertisement. However, the picture does not match what weathertech was showing for our cars. I believe this is a pic of a 2G car.

called weathertech, they said they dont have a floor liner with the edges raised, the stock photo on their site is for an suv... in any event here is what came in the mail

they fit perfectly and are very durable rubber compared to the oe mats for half the price, kept the oe's in the rears which are blah since no one sits there

excuse some dirt on the side but there is snow on the streets still

oe passenger side (not functional how do I know well because I found leaves underneath the mat how the f***)

check out the ridges on these, I will call them mud rides

ps. the driver side even has the little holes for the 2 little hooks under the seat

I just took delivery of Weathertech all weather mats for my wife's '01 Celica, and they SUCK! Hold down holes come nowhere NEAR the correct location of the pins on the car. Hopefully, they will do a better job with my '07's ordered.

the holes for the hooks on my type s matched perfectly, only thing is you have to push the hooks through, it is covered by a very thin rubber area

if you want to go cheap go with the weathertech floormats. i have the OEM mats i got from the dealership. Paid 110 and had them shipped to me house. They look amazing and have the TL logo (weathertech doesn't). when it comes to durability the weathertech mats can't match the OEM mats.

think of it this way. you spend $30k on a car you should beable to afford the $149 msrp mats from the dealer. If you can't you should consider buying a cheaper car.

It's not a question of what one can afford.

In my case, I wanted the weathertech mats because they were available in front row only, and I've never had anyone sit in the back of either my '05 or my '07. Why waste money?

The OE ones are not wack, those weathertech mats are wack! The liners are cool as hell, but those wack mats look like AutoZone generic shit dawg! LOL!

Al, you know damn well if you had seen those before you bought them, you would not have sold your OE A/S mats. I know that if I would've ordered those damn things thinking I was getting something like the liner, and sold my OE ones (like I almost did) - I would've been pissed! To each his own I guess...

I don't really see a big functional difference between the w/t and OE all season mats. I thought the w/t's had sides that go up all the way around by the pedals. Those Weathertechs look like they wouldn't do any better than what I already have. That's dissapointing, I wanted something that would catch all the snow and not let it spill over onto the carpet. Plus the OE are short up under the clutch and brake pedals. I thought they were like that "stock" photo with the good protection not some cheap as walmart look a likes. Damn.

well the oe window visors are black and are overly large... the weather tech one's are shorter and are clear smoked... so I was considering them

oe window visors ($135)
W/T clear visors ($90)

As for the mats yeah that websites stock photo is super misleading... lol so disregard that, I will see if I can do a group buy for the REAL FLOOR LINER

I had these on my old car and when I got my TL-S I put them in. I was like wtf, ordered OEM ones, and gave the weather techs to my parent's for their van. They're really not all that functionally different than the Acura OEM's. Leaves, pebbles, dirt, water, slush ... all still get under your mats because they dont have raised edges.

Sorry I didn't see this earlier, or maybe I coulda saved someone from selling their nice TL personalized rubber mats.

Also you can get the weather tech mats at pep boys..

I think it's waste of money.

if where you lived doesn't snow, you don't need them. b/c i hope you don't go off-road with your TL.

I went to sam's and picked up some generic brands for $17.00. I have been using it for my past two vehicles.

The WeatherTech Floorliner seems to be really good, but when they say "First Row", does it mean it's a pair? The picture only shows one for the driver's side.

Also, is this http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...?ItemGroupId=3 better than the OEM all weather rubber mats?

The OEM all weather mats are offered at $135 and it comes in a set of 4.

..didn't see the discussion above about it...but any more suggestions would be appreciated. Price wise, the OEM mats and W/T are about the same, I just want quality and nice look.

There is no point in buying Weathertech if you're not going with the floor liner. It's that simple.

Update

Well, just received my new Weathertech all weather floor liners (front) for my '07 TL-S. Nice, tight fit. First impression is quite good. I was skeptical after the set arrived for my wife's Celica with the knockouts in the wrong place, but these seem good.
