as all of you know, some vultures damaged my car and ate a bunch of weatherstipping from the sunroof, door trim, etc.

i got the car back a last week and neither i, the body shop, or the insurance adjuster noticed that the vultures also started eating away the weatherstripping along the rear windshield/top of trunk lid area (pictures below).

does anyone know if i'll need an entire new windshield, or if they sell the weatherstripping separate. it appears to be attached to the rear window (same story with the sunroof...i had to purchase a new sunroof bc they don't just sell the weatherstipping separate).

any advice/help is appreciated. thanks.

how it is supposed to look

how mine looks on one side

How in the hell did they even get to that area? I didn't think it was even exposed. What are they Vultures or something???

Wish I could help, Sorry!

^i guess they dug their stupid vulture beaks in between the trunk lid and windshield. why? who the hell knows.

"ahh shweet! hey gang, i found some more weatherstripping down here! lets eat it!"

I believe its all one piece. When my shop removed my window it looked to be stuck on the glass. I didnt get to close of a look at it. Look at the bright side, this whole vulture thing turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Im sure you're loving your custom paint work!

The following link will give you the part numbers and pricing. Unfortunately, Honda offers the complete rear windshield rubber set, not just the bottom.

i'm positive. #20 isn't a separate piece. check out your sunroof...you'll see how it's all attached together.
