Weather stripping not firmly attached?

I was closing my rear passenger door today and lightly brushed the weather stripping when I notice it pulled away from the door rather easily. I then re-opened the door and looked at it...

Half of it wasn't even attached to the door!!! I pulled it up to the mid-part of the door. It just dangles on there. So curious now, I checked the other rear passenger door only to find that it had the similar issue, not as bad as the other door though. Checked the front and they were okay.

This is about the 23rd assembly/quality issue I've had to date since my purchasing this car 5 weeks ago. So what the f^)k is going on here?!?!?! I'm thinking about driving to Ohio driving this piece of s#!t right through the assembly plant to give them are REAL reason to skimp on quality.

I understand these things can be fixed/mended, but should I/we even have to go through all this? This is a Honda/Acura for pete's sake! My Si never had this many issues, in the 4 years I owned it.

I'm at my wits end here. I'm giving this car another month and 2 issues before I get rid of it. I love the way it looks and drives, but if it has to spend most of its time at the dealership getting fixed... what's the point? It would've spent more time at the dealership getting fixed then it did sitting on the lot waiting to get sold.

Aaarrrgghhhh!!!!

Man, sorry for the problems. I`d be just like you if mine had that many. Have to check my own weatherstripping. :banghead:

I wonder if the car being made in Ohio instead of in Japan has anything to do with all these quality control issues?

I thought the same. They are not serious problems but they are quality control issues for sure.
