Waxed car today...left marks on hood chrome trim
So I finally decided to wax my car today (for the first time)...I usually wash it every week therefore hadn't waxed it before
...so after i waxed the car (using meguiars gold shine...) I realized a couple hours later that one edge of the front chrome hood trim had some kind of bronze color mark/stain to it instead of the silver/chrome look the rest of the grill etc had
....I'm guessing the wax had some kind of chemical reacition with it...I used some watered down windex (used for tints) on it and im pretty sure most of it went away
...I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this / suggest what I can buy and apply on it to make it totally clear out
