Wave files on a dvd
Has anyone tried burning wave files to a DVD? Will the HU in the TL play them? Im not looking for the DVD audio stuff or the 5.1 stuff just regular wave files.

It won't work (and it's been tried). The TL won't play anything off of a DVD unless it's a DVD-Audio.

There is no such thing as a regular WAV file, but I think what you're trying to say is that you want to playback CD-Quality WAV files (44.1khz, 16 bit audio). That said, you can burn them to a DVD in DVD-Audio format using a program called DiscWelder (www.discwelder.com). There are three versions availlable, but I would suggest buying the $100 DiscWelder Bronze.
It works great for putting up to 99 tracks of CD-quality audio tracks onto one physical disc.

None that I am aware of. Discwelder Bronze is the least expensive DVD Audio Authoring software I have seen.

Who has the more expensive Discwelder Steel.

Also in another forum it was said you must use a DVD-R not a DVD+R. I have not tested this full theory yet. The weird thing is the quick reference guide to the TL plainly states that DVD-R and DVD-RW will not work. They don't mention DVD+R.. however it's really a DVD+R that won't work?
