Are you sure the a/c wasn't on? If you didn't actually say "air conditioning off" I believe if it is in auto mode the a/c will come on. The left side is usually where the a/c drain is.

I'm sure it was your air conditioner that was dripping condensation. Your a/c unit is automatically turned on when the front defroster is used.
Moral of the story - if you get in a race, be sure to push the a/c button and turn off the compressor. Mustang GT's used to have an auto-off feature for their a/c compressors during full throttle periods. The TL needs this too!

I think the a/c button only comes on if you over ride the auto setting. It most likely is coming on and off all the time. It would be too distracting to have it flash on and off every time it engaged.

And ravi - If your defroster was on, your compressor (A/C) was almost guaranteed to be on to remove moisture from the heated air.

GotJazz I think you meant Farenheith right? 26 degrees C is about 79 degrees F but 26 degrees Kelvin is about -412 degrees F. In all of it's power, I don't think the AC unit could get the car that cold.

Unfortunately, I've also found that sarcasm doesn't always translate well into the spoken word, either.

if you set your climate control on auto, the system will use the A/C or get air from the outside to maintain the set temperature.
It's normal. Water drips under my 03 accord coupe all the time when it's humid outside and I have my climate control set on auto.
