Watch your Wheels!
I speak from experience when I say that the wheels on the 04 TL are extremely vulnerable to damage caused by curbs. There is no real rim protection offered by the LM 22's...not sure about the Turanzas but they look no better. Very easy to scrub one very lightly off a curb and voila! your rim is messed up!
Anyone else scrubbed a curb with your shiny new wheels yet?
Do the Pilot Sport AS offer better protection for the wheels than the Turanzas or the LM 22's?

I realize alot of people have done it and it was intended as a reminder or a heads up. Perhaps there are some new people here who would like to read about it before they do it too. It is very easy to ruin a wheel...way too easy IMHO....Watch out!

2 weeks after I bought my car I was parked next to a curb (so no cars could park next to me and ding me) and as I was pulling out I turned the wheels too soon.. heard the scrape, but fortunately I turned back the other way quickly. The damage is fairly minimal, right at the edge of the wheel. You have to really look to find it (thank goodness).
