I was wondering how they look at voiding warranties with certain mods... like are some of the parts of the warranty voided with additions such as CAI, exhaust systems, drops...etc?

everything u just mentioned technically voids everything out. BUT the techs arent stupid they know why shit breaks and its not because of certain mods.

welcome to the forum- You will find that scrolling thru the thread list or using the seach button are your friends here.
The dealer has to prove THAT mod caused the problem, example if you drop the car and the CV wears out- thats a direct connection
But if your battery dies- its not because you have a CAI

thanks-yeah i did a search, i guess i am leaning towards not doing any modding until my warranty is up, just to be on the safe side. Dont want to have to deal with any ass at the delearship, that might try to void my warranty even if the mod had nothign to do with it. OH well

But yeah, In theory they have to prove that your mod caused in the failure of another part...

ie. Can't blame CAI when your head unit fails.
