Anyone have their Redondo Red tinted yet?

I'm restricted to 50% front/35% rear

I'm thinking about 50% all around, so I'd like to see that.

look i live near dc to you can get away with darker not 15% like i got, man im just waiting to get pulled over for that, the company that tinted my windows for 50 extra doller gives you ins... if i get an inspection ticket..they will take it off then reapply after inspection... the place is in glen burnie i live in annapolis so it was close...they do a very good job the place is called hp racing the # is 410 760 6487.. if you dont get mole hair be prepared for your tint to scratch..

Just spoke to HP Racing, The guy answering the phone knew nothing of the mole hair/scratching issue but said they have done quite a few 04 TLs and there have been no complaints.

Hoyahenry, I pick up my RR this weekend and will be getting the windows tinted soon after that, probally darker than 35% just not sure yet. I'll post pics afterwards.

I would go with what I did.. 15% front 2 windows.. 5% rear 3 windows..

its something called molehair they replace the seal with.. if you dont put this in you will get what looks like razor cuts..i almost had them replace my tint thinking it was install problem it was not

be carefull of some of those southcounty police they got nothing better to do than give you a ticket for dark tint....although it has not happened to me

Yeah I have been lucky so far with the tint on my wife's MDX. It's 35% on the front 2 windows but it's a tad lower on the back windows over the stock tint.

In VA, an MDX qualifies as a "multi-purpose vehicle" as far as I interpret the code:

"G. Nothing in this section shall prohibit applying to the rear side windows or rear window of any multi-purpose passenger vehicle or pickup truck sun-shading or tinting films that reduce the total light transmittance of such window or windows below thirty-five percent.

"Multipurpose passenger vehicle" means any motor vehicle that is (i) designed to carry no more than ten persons and (ii) constructed either on a truck chassis or with special features for occasional off-road use;"

So, there are no restrictions on rear window tint levels. Despite the clearance height out of the factory, the TL isn't really designed for occasional off-road use. I don't see the benefit of risking darker tint.
