VIN Question

Just got my VIN today for my car that was built last week. The sequence number is 1821. Its a Canadian car. Does the VIN for a navi car contain different characters but the same sequence numbers or does the VIN not differentiate between navi and non-navi cars. Reason I ask is because my dealer has been telling me how difficult it has been to get the navi cars, especially silver/navi which is what I ordered. I have been waiting for this car since October and still don't have it. I was being patient but now that I see the sequence number it means that a lot of cars were shipped before mine. If that number means all cars built then thats not bad but if it means all navi cars build thats a lot.

My complete VIN is 19UUA6626A801821. All Canadian cars have the "8" as the first digit in the sequence number.

16 digits or 17 digits?

Sorry, except Canadian uses the different way to code the Navi and Non-Navi car, this looks like the early built car for me...

Thanks for the replies. I will check on the missing digit. Looks like it can only be a "4". My question is answered too. In the VIN there is no differentiation of navi from non-navi.
