Idle vibrations. Motor mount?
Cars been parked since last july as ive been doing maintenance/repairs. Got it going this week but noticing a lower frequency/deep sounding idle. Not a rough idle just deeper and annoying. No check engine light. Could this be the aftermarket motor mounts i installed?

vibrations at various speeds...aftermarket motor mounts?
07 type s, 247k miles. car sat for almost a year as i slowly did repairs which included replacing all motor mounts. i used the cheap set from 1aauto, TRQ brand as they got decent reviews. however i notice vibrations at idle and also vibrations at varying speeds even on fresh paved roads and its more noticeable when im on the gas going up a slight incline. at times the vibrations smooth out. Does this sound like it could be the cheap aftermarket motor mounts? im wondering about my CV axles since theyre original OEM and im at 247k miles..no clicking sounds when i turn or anything and i never noticed any vibrations like this before i parked my car last year, even with all broken oem mounts

Does the vibration happen when the car is not moving?
Rev the car in neutral.
Then put it in drive and apply the brake and hit the gas to load the engine down without letting the car move.
If you notice the same vibration, then its likely your engine mounts. Aftermarket mounts are almost never as good as factory...so you just accept that you saved some money and now the car is a little more rough.
CV axle shake is a rhythmic shake that feels like it occurs as the axles rotate. If the shake ONLY happens when the car is rolling, it could potentially be your CV cups wearing out.
