I noticed a very fine crack on the windshield, on the passenger side today morning. It's about a foot long. The crack is visible only from inside in sunlight. Didn't notice any chips on the outside and is also not visible in shade from inside. No rock hits recently.

I searched on the forum, but didn't find similar descriptions for their windshield cracks.

Time for a windshield replacement. Your windshield is a structural part of the car in addition to being a part of the SRS system in conjunction with the passenger airbag. Can't neglect this stuff.

If crack is coming for the inside, it is most likely a crapper installation job from factory. The crack is induced by the A pillar and it is a stress crack. Go back to dealer and tell them the crack is from the inside and therefore, it is impossible to have a rock/stone hit it unless ....if I throw the stone from the inside.
