Valvoline brand synchromesh
I am new here. I couldn't find a thread about this specific brand and wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not. I'm getting ready to change my manual transmission fluid and was curious if I could use valvoline synchromesh instead of the GM brand?

Why screw around with something with little if any track record; ACDelco Synchromesh Friction Modified (that last bit is VERY IMPORTANT) has a long and extensive track record of working wonders in our transmissions.

The GM stuff was branded AC Delco the last time I picked it up 3 years ago. MUST be friction modified. The GM dealer knows you are Honda because we specifically ask for it lol

Lol even a master mechanic at the dealer sworn that (AC Delco FM) is a magic fluid. We took my TL for a spin before and after he said "wow"

The GM/AC Delco fluid solved my 3rd gear 'shifting-into' issues when the car was 7,000 miles old. And I've been loyal ever since, that is, until 280K miles. Paul, our star master mechanic here in Nawth Jerzy used the new Honda fluid for my last change and I find it's just as good after 32K miles.
So ida way, you're OK!
