V-LED HID Bulbs/Kit Offers Odd Color?

Quick question -

I have been looking for a pair of hid bulbs for my main headlights, along with an hid kit for my fogs (05 tl), to match my switchbacks that I purchased that acually give off a hint off purple. I thought this was weird because the switch backs were rated at 6000k. Note that the switch backs came from V-LED.

Well, today I came across V-LED hid bulbs and a kit that they offer that is rated at 6000k that says it has a purple hint to it. I thought this was odd since normally 6000k is pure white with a little blue in it.

Any input? Anyone have a V-LED HID kit? Any Feedback??

Is V-LED the only manufactuer that anyone has seen that offers this rare combo of 6000k with some purple in it?

Thanks!!!

I've had a few 6K Hid kits and IMO they've all always had a blueish/purplish/whitish tint to them. I've got 6K switchbacks and 6K HID's(not from VLED's) on my Chrysler and they match perfectly.

From what I've seen on their website, there are 2 different colors available in their 6k kits....diamond blue and quartz purple.

I would stay away from ddmtuning... They were great at first but only after a year of having them they have gone bad and barely work. Will be replacing them with Kaixon 6000k from xlr8.

I didn't realize that they could change the color, always thought the Kelvin determined the color. interesting...
