V-LED 9005 DRL help!!!

As the subject says I ordered 9005 blue DRLs. When I installed it, the passenger side bulb glows extremely dim and the driver side does not glow at all. Then I tried putting a stock bulb on the opposite side mitch matching them and they both came on. How can I make both my blue bulbs come on at the same time? Any help would be appreciated.

the tl has a very specific drl system. if it does not detect a halogen bulb, it will not power it on correctly. you will need a drl harness with resistors. the resistors are to trick the car that there is a halogen bulb, and the harness is to give the leds 12v, because the car only gives the drls 5v or 6v.

If i continue with these V-LEDs where can I get the DRL harness and resistors? Can you send me a direct link? I see some harness that doesn't work for bulbs with certain voltages. The bulbs I have are 7.5w and the harness they are selling is not made for 7.5w.. Doesn't make sense to me..

i got a drl harness from ijdmtoy for free. i took it apart and examined how its done and the concept is very simple. all you need is a regular automotive relay available from anywhere(autozone, walmart, etc) and a bit of wiring skills. two of the pins on the relay are for switching the relay on, so you take the positive drl signal from the driver's side, and the negative drl signal from the passenger side and connect that to the relay. i forget the pin numbers but then afterwards you connect the top and bottom, one is for the source to battery, and one goes to the drl led bulb. very simple concept. if i had the parts i could easily re-engineer the harness for you. and the resistors are just regular ones from any automotive store, i believe its 6 ohms and 50 watts?
