Upgraded from TL Type-S to M5

Well it has been five months since I jumped ship from Acura to BMW so i figured I'd give a comparison of the two cars. I really loved the TL Type-S but I really wanted to know what it is like to have a car like the M5.

Things I miss in the TL
Back up camera
Aux Jack
Easy to use navigation

Things I don't miss
The door always trying to close on me
Easily chipped paint
front wheel drive

Things I like about the BMW
Keyless entry and starting.
POWER!
Smooth balanced ride
overall interior with leather on the dash and suede headliner

Things I don't like about the BMW
Slow clunky SMG when driving in stop/go traffic
No backup camera (one can be retrofitted)
Fuel economy (it is a V10 so what did I expect)

My list for "Things I love about the BMW" would be a shit ton longer than yours haha, especially if you are comparing it to the TL.

My neighbor has one...lud the HUD. He bitches about the gas mileage though as well lol. He averages 7-8mpg in the city...

Nice upgrade sir. You’ll get used to driving smg in stop and go traffic. I find the best setting for smg is the third bar. Anyways enjoy your new M5!

Yes I got an extended warranty on it for another 4 years 48K miles.

No this is the top for me it is all down hill from here. I originally went to look at a 2010 135i with 8K miles but it had already sold by the time I got to the dealer. So on a whim I tried out the 2006 M5 with 42K miles that they had on the lot and it was only $3K more so I figured what the hell. I meant to have the front pic in the original post but accidentally did the back pic twice.

If you don't mind, how much did you get it for? I'd assume a newer E92 M3 was in your range. Good upgrade. I will never leave my TL because it is my first car. I'll be running at least two cars for the rest of my life.

No mods I like it the way it is plus 500hp is more than enough for me. If I did want to mod and was one of the 1% here are some prices of things you can add to an M5.

Dammit sir, I am jealous. Been looking for a M3 to move up, but at the rate these E60s are dropping, I may just try to settle for one in the right range.
