I bet that it is brushed stainless not polished like our pedals. I am ok with that if that is the case. I can polish it myself no big deal.

I would take the rubber pad out, screw the pedal to a block of wood, mount block of wood in vise, then simply wet sand the brush out of it and polish with a jewlers compound.

Good idea on the polishing. Currently I have the Ultimate Pedals foot rest pedal. I de-anodized and polished it, it looked ok, but not an exact match cuz it's aluminum. Hoping the stainless version matches better even if I have to polish the dang thing.

I went and talked to my uncle. He is a metal fabricator and machinist. He told me if that in fact the difference between the stock pedals and the new one is in fact that it is brushed, he said that it would take some work to polish it. What my advice to all of you is that I would be willing to take my pedal and be kind of like the pioneer. If this is the case I will take my pedal when recieved and take it to him and get the best method of the process and give you the diy on how to do it. If it doesn't go well then no one will experience the same fate, I don't care if it works out or not. The price is fair enough and at the end of the day I am looking for a certain look, if it fails it will just be on me.

These are not stock type-s pedals. It's a full set sold here before. I believe these are aluminum. Type-s pedals are stainless which is shinnier.

And no aluminum will not match the type-s pedals at all even if you polish it. It comes close but not the same. Two different metals.

Here is what needs to be done. Please note in the beginning of this GB that we posted here:

We are assuming that everyone agrees to the AIR ship method, unless we see more posts stated otherwise after our post here.

No Logo: $27 a piece + freight
With Logo: $30 a piece + freight

Freight is basically 1 pound = $6 max within USA, so
No Logo: $33 shipped
With Logo: $36 shipped

if you are in Canada, we will quote it separately.

As stated, stainless steel version does not have engraved.

Now, here is what we have some concern. We had/have a few Group Buy in the past months or so, and have people actually signed on the Group Buy but was never followed through. We understand that people sometimes change their mind or have other priority need to attend to. For those stuffs we have in stock, we are not worry too much.

But for this GB, as we mentioned earlier that they are basically custom ordered for you guys, so we won't order more or less after the order is confirmed and we do need at least majority of people who signed up actually going to pay for what they signed up for to place the order with our vendor. For instance, if 35 signed up for and only 30 people paid, we need to place an order with those 30 pedal which has specific style, engraved that you guys want...etc to be considered, we can't have someone who is in that 30 decided this is not for him at the end. We need to collect the money from those 30 people obviously while the earlier to place the order, the quicker the paid people can receive it, so we are caught in the middle. Say someone paid the first day while someone paid 3 weeks from now, it definitely creates chaos that we don't want to see.

Therefore, here is what we are asking you to do.

We are sending out PM notifications to all that sign up on this GB and we are asking those who are on the GB list to post a reply right next to your screename in the list to confirm you are going to pay within 3 days. And we will wait 4 days for everyone that are on the list to reflect on the list so we can estimate how many actually will follow through. If it indeed close to 30 people, then we will start collect payments which as stated above, have 3 days to pay so total time it takes is around 7 days = 1 week. Therefore, we can wrap it up to order what needs to be ordered so people don't have to wait much longer. We hope this is generally fair and cover everyone's general and specific situation.

So, once you see this post or our PM, please update your name on the list for example and if you need to change the style you are ordering, now is the time to confirm that too:

I'm kind of confused.
The dead pedal only non engraved, shipped is $36 dollars with this special group buy "non attempt to make profit"
The regular price, from your website, for the 3 piece set non engraved is $70.95 shipped to region 2, WITH the motive of making profit. And I can get them shipped within 2-3 business days and not wait 2-3 weeks, plus one week.
That means, for the price of $34.95, I can receive two more pedals, the gas and break pedals, non engraved? And you make profit on that one?
The pricing doesn't seem to make sense for me.

You are correct that is you pay $34.95 more, you get two more pedals, the gas and brake. I think that I understand where you coming from. But here are a few things for you to know. Manufacturer or Vendor never likes to break a set and sell just its parts, so obviously what they provide us reflects on that. The above translates that our cost on a piece (dead pedal) vs. a set, we don't get as good deal as getting them a set. I believe you can see this type of examples in every day life such as fast food, that you get a combo which includes burger + fries + drink for $5.00 while getting the burger alone aleady jump up to $4.00. Second, as we mentioned, we need AIR ship them in, so the cost for dead pedal only is higher in that regard because of the freight charge. While we use sea to get the pedals in set's version, so with that $70.95 shipped to Zone 2 price, we are able to make a few bucks while if we use air, 0 profit. And I am sure that you can search around, this $70.95 shipped price is unheard of a year ago, I recall seeing $179.95 shipped. I hope that you understand more on why the price is the way we set it.

Obviously there might be people who can't wait 2-3 weeks and willing to pay $34.95 more to get a set while not using the 2 pieces, my guess are that the majority of people who signed up in this GB are not those people because either they are ok to wait for 2-3 weeks or don't really need the 2 pieces.
