Type S hood on base model

Lets keep this simple people. I have a VIS carbon fiber hood that i'm looking to get rid of. Have a member that wants to trade me for his stock hood from his Type S. Question is, does the hood from his type S fit the base model? Don't need any smart ass comments or anything like that. Thanks

You bet it does, just the chrome strip in the hood will be a bit darker.

The strip is irrelevant to me since I'm going to color match it with the rest of my grill. Thanks for the response

Nah I'm friends with the OP. We discussed this topic in person on Monday and I'm just giving him a hard time.

I can take this thread off course if you would like.

Because I'm an angry person.

Not really but it's fun to pretend.

I'm merely curious here, but aside from the grill trim piece color, are the Type-S hood and the base hood different from one another? Does the Type-S hood have a different shape? If so, I never noticed.

No differences between the two besides the trim at the bottom.
