Type S Auto 0-60 times

Ok guys got the trusty G tech out today and decided it was time to have some fun.

My auto posted consistently around 5.8, fastest being 5.74 and the slowest being 6.22 (didnt realise I was in 2nd when I started!)
here is my question every time I hit the gas I lost traction which I am figuring cost me around 2/10th s any ideas how best to launch this beast?, It may be the Michelins are not fully broken in yet (800 miles only) Ideas please

Mine seems pretty accurate as I used a stopwatch as well

05 tl fastest was 6.3, biggest difference though is the torque, forget 0-60! this car hauls ass from 30-120, and just keeps pulling! When you downshift and hit the gas it is noticably different, partly because the type S allows higher revs on the downshift and then combines that with the extra torque

for the traction, i think driving around a bit, heating up the tires, might help with the lost traction issue

I feel you on that. Just so happens that I raced a NSX on the highway 40-120, by 120 I had 1/2 a car length on him. It was pretty intense, very very even, barely beat him.

yes. I was minding my business coming back down to Ft. Campbell after spending the weekend in MD with my parents doing 80 on cruise. All of a sudden an NSX passed me doing around 100 so I caught up to him and he kept speeding up, we hit 140 on two different occasions but never faster. My 00 accord maxed out at 145 but this beast still had plenty of power left at 140, I cant wait to see what this maxes out at. But anyways we went through a construction area and he rolled down his window and asked if I wanted to race and I said yeah so he just gave me a couple seconds and yelled GO!!! So I was in second at 40 and eventually was in 5th going 120 when we had to stop cause of upcoming traffic and I had 1/2 a car length on him.

Get some really good max summer tires. Check back on it after a few oil changes.
