Turning Old Leased TLS in Early for New TL
I'm only 2 years into a four year lease on my TLS but WANT a new TL with six speed. Anyone ever turn a lease in this early? I know there would probably be a hit based on the value of the car, etc, but do you think the Acura dealers want to move the new TL?

If it's leased with American Honda Financial Services (AHFS), there aren't as many options as other leasing organizations (ie: you can't transfer the lease). If you used another leasing company, you probably have more flexibility.

Make sure you check out your options VERY carefully. I turned my 2k TL in 3 months early (the dealer made my last payments as a new purchase incentive). 2 weeks later, I get a call from the lease company (Chevy Chase) telling me I must repossess the car, reinsure it, and keep it until the lease is up or be considered in default. I did, but wasn't happy about it. In any event, if you do it make sure you understand your complete obligation as to avoid any future inconvenience.
