Hello I was wondering if anyone attempted to place the side mirrors from an 07-08 TL on a 2005 TL, if it's an easy swap, and maybe what it entails as far as modifications. Also, is it a direct plug in? Thanks.

 

It fits, you just have to wire it up.

I believe the driver side is plug and play, but you need to run one wire for the passenger side.

 

I read that only 2006 had the driver side plug and play because it was wired differently than the 04-05. I could be wrong though.

you need to run a wire for the blinkers just one in each side to have power for them...

 

Its really easy, I did it on my 05. Be careful when you put the new mirrors on though, you have to really tighten down the bolts so the mirrors sit flush. Just run the wire and tap it to the turn signals. I ran mine above my wheel well and to the mirror.
