Are you trading in your 05 TL for the New TSX? Or for the same model year TSX? If you do that trade for the same model year, you are down grading in performance. Quite honestly, I'm not really a fan of any of TSX not even the new one. Just my 0.02. Good luck

Loving my 08 TLS!
Test drive the TSX first and then you can decide which is more suitable for you. I think the TSX is very light and preppy, but the interior is not that great if we are talking about the previous generation. The 09 TSX is growing on me and I really dig the interior.

I would never trade my 05 TL for a 06 or 07 TSX, I don't even think I would trade it for the 09 to be honest with you. Maybe you should have considered just getting the TSX to begin with instead of getting the TL?

I was considering getting a TSX before I purchased the TL for the same reason -- I thought the TL was too big for me. Then I realized the TL is only 3 inches wider and 6 inches longer than the TSX, which isn't much in my opinion. It just looks/feels much bigger than a TSX.

TSX is pretty nice, It would be worth it if you want a more compact car, It will handle better since it has a smaller turning radius, and less weight and less overall dimensions.
For me, I am a big boy, the TL is just perfect. And its a V6, the TSX has more than enough power, but if you are power hungry the TL has lots more.

get an accord coupe if you think the TL is larger, the accord coupe has the v6 and it's a sporty 2dr too

I'd only trade for a 6M TSX

I was originally going to get a TSX 6M, but decided to get the TL for its greater torque/hp when my wife said she preferred that I get an auto trans car ( :surrender ).
I really like the TL, but don't think I would have any difficulty swapping for a 6M TSX. I wouldn't swap for an auto trans TSX, though- the auto TSX seems much more muted and less involving to drive than the 6M.

Those of you posting negative comments about the TSX here need to go check out and drive the completely redesigned 2009 model. 4 more MPG than the TL and built in Japan, for starters ........

TSX is a wonderful car. But it's not a TL. You have to agree a TL to a TSX is a big downgrade in room, size and performance.

I had an '09 TSX as a loaner a few weeks ago. Interior is nice, steering wheel is thicker and feels nice, seats feel a little nicer too. Other than that, it's TL all the way. Even the little lady in the passenger seat said she didn't like the sound of the TSX engine when accelerating or passing. Said it sounded like a little kids car.
Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad car at all, but to paraphrase an old quote: "I know the TL, and you Mr. '09 TSX are no TL!"
Needless to say, I was happy when I got my TL back! Not a bad
