Trunk organizer question
Hey guys-
I recently purchased an '07 TL type S. Inside the trunk we have the trunk tray, but everything gets thrown around in there.
I noticed on each side there are buttons that look like a cargo net can be attached, but the car didn't come with the cargo nets.
I looked online through websites, but can't seem to find anything for it.
I figured you guys are the guys to ask. Does anyone know if they offer these cargo nets?
Thanks in advance..

yes they do, try checking where your spare tire is, its normally there with the jack. If not you can get it at the dealer.

You'll find that for the netting to work with the liner in place, you'll need to screw the round anchors, to which the netting attaches, through the liner bottom. Just make a mark and use an awl to piece the liner slightly in the correct location. Only problem is that if the spare compartment is needed to be accessed, the anchors need to be unscrewed first, and then the liner can be removed.
I keep a plastic container in the back of the trunk that is filled with accessories, and that will slide around on the liner, even with the netting in place. I drilled a hole in the lip of the liner at the back and one on the side, then took a bungee cord and stretched it around the container to keep it in place. Even that eventually dropped down and the sequence started once again. I then drilled 2 holes in the corner of the container and zip tied the bungee in place, no more problems. A lot of effort for an annoying problem, but finally fixed.

I keep a canvas tool bag to hold odd and ends in the trunk. But that also slides around. I'll have to try the bungee cord approach. As far as the net is concerned, I have one in the spare tire area also.
