Transmission Axle Seal

Transmission Axle Seal
Hello All I usually do a search before I post. I did search but came up with different results. I recently had an issue with my transmission on a 07 Acura TL, just about 3 hours ago I noticed transmission fluid leaking. As I jacked or lifted up the car I noticed and seems the leak is coming from the axle seal from the driver side. As of right now I'm looking for the part number for the driver side axle seal. If anyone here can provide that information it will be vwry appreciated.

Let's hope it's not the shaft is loose which damage the seal.

@truonghthe really hope not I just recently got the car in April. Also the closet dealership to me is about an hour away and the only dealership close by is the Honda Dealership on Southwest Philadelphia. So hoping I can find a compatible part number.

I had the same issue in my accord before the trany isn't slipping but the final drive shaft is loose and crush the seal which lead me to sell it. I hope it some thing else like a bad deal.

@truonghthe - Finally got the car onto a lift as its been a busy week for me. Upon reading your previous post I double checked the seal and seems perfect but replaced anyways just in case. Also found out that the initial leak was coming from a bad axle, seems the ring that clips into the transmission was not clipping in to lock in the axle. So the axle was not fully locked causing the leak.
@Turbonut - Took your advise on that and got the seal which was perfect and replaced at the shop.
Also during the process of changing out the part and fixing the issue another problem occurred. After the first issue was resolved the ABS and VSA light was on, used a SNAP ON Scanner and states that issue with the ABS/Speed Sensor either a short in the wires or damaged sensor. Upon researching it details that it may also be the wheel bearing that is causing the issue. From one of the sites its states that there is a ABS Tone ring integrated into the bearing which can be easily damaged when removing the axles. Can anyone confirm that this may cause the ABS/VSA light to come on.

From my previous experience with bad front left and right rear wheel bearing I never had any abs light came on, how bad is your bearing? I would replace the bearing first and see the light is turn off.

@truonghthe I changed out the ABS/Speed Senor since it was only 30 Dollars and no luck at all. ABS Light is still on the SNAP On scanner still indicates front left as the issue, upon driving with the scanner in the car no MPH/Speed is recorded on the front left. So it seems the integrated ABS tone ring in the wheel bearing is damaged and is not sending a signal to the ABS sensor. Must have been damaged during the removal of the axle, going to order a new wheel bearing and have it pressed in. Again thank you for responding.

Apologies for the late reply wanted to give an update incase another user has the same issue. It was a wheel bearing with the integrated tone ring that caused the issue. Replaced and no more vsa/abs light
