Trading TL for RL
I have an 04' auto TL with 14,400 miles. Full A-spec minus the springs. Has Navigation too. How much will I get on a trade., and how much will my car payments be on a 60 month payments on an 05 RL?

Good trade info, and info on True Market Prices for an RL in your ZIP code. (A ZIP code is the Zoning Improvement Plan implemented by the US Postal Service in 1963 to speed the delivery of mail.)
www.acura.com
You can build and price an RL and there is also handy payment calculator. You put in the variables (Interest Rate, Trade, Down Payment, Payoff, MSRP) and the computer does the work.
Glad to help.

The RL is a nice car. There are two ways to look at trading though. if you trade now you will obviously get more money then if you trade later. I would personally wait until the RL has a few more features, IE AC seats, heated steering wheel, and possibly active cruise control. From what I understand the RL is less of a sports car. Correct me if I am wrong. Your dealer is probably the best bet. Try kelly blue book too.

The better sources were listed in the post that followed but that's about all we can do is send you someplace else for your answer. No matter what info you get from us or the computer, the dealer is still going to figure strongly in how much you get. That is, unless you sell it yourself.
Payments determined by your credit rating, down payment (loan Amount) and skill at negoiating.

Not sure how how you guys want to figure the deal, but the RL at 49500 list has about 5300 in profit over the invoice (not including any incentives or hold backs).
Acura loves to see new models move out the door and well since the TL is a hot car right now especially the younger people who will mortgage their future for 7 years to own one, you can possibly swing a good deal.
If you got a clean 04 with low miles, you can get a good deal on it. If the 04 tl listed at 34000 and you paid 17000 and your car. The dealer hopes to get not less than 29000 for the used car and if that's the case, they really sold the RL for 46000 or about 1800 over invoice. Looks like a good deal to me from the perspective that they did not make a killing. Most places want to make 3000 on a deal. They get about at least a 1000 on the new car and 2000 on the used car.
There is also the thought that if you can afford a 50K car you can afford not to pay a discount. But it is the model year for the RL and I think there are deals to be had...
